Winners of the National Corporate Reputation Management Quality Rating Announced at the PRNext International Forum
31.03.2023
During the PRNext International Forum, the winners of the VIII National Corporate Reputation Management Quality Rating “Reputation ACTIVists” were announced. The great jury of 149 independent analysts, industry experts, and specialized journalists of the leading media determined among 663 companies of various industries, whose owners, top management, and PR teams demonstrated the best performance in the reputation management system in war conditions.
Head of the PRNext organizing committee, partner of the PR Service agency, and Vice-President of the Ukrainian PR League Olena Derevianko spoke about the “Reputation ACTIVists – 2023” awards and summed up the results of the annual survey.
This year, some changes were made to the announcement of winners. In particular, in 2023, the list of winners in the five functional nominations “Reputational Stability,” “Media Activity,” “Innovative Approach,” “CSR Image Capital,” and “Sustainability in Crisis” will not be published. The victory in the functional nominations will not correctly reflect the real state of affairs and achievements without powerful representatives of certain industries and nominations, the evaluation of which is temporarily paused.
Also, evaluations in certain nominations and branches, which reflects their specific situation in the conditions of war are on pause. Participants in the “Diversified Business Groups” nomination are often closely related to the name of the beneficiary or the key underlying asset. However, war and destruction, sanctions and nationalization are rapidly changing the business landscape and positions of such groups. Some are disappearing or their future is becoming increasingly uncertain, others are in search of strategic survival models in the new reality.
Participants of the “Airlines” sub-nomination of the “Transport and Logistics” branch almost do not carry out their activities due to the danger in the sky of Ukraine. The sub-category “Investment companies” in the “Finance” branch is on pause as the Ukrainian market of classic investments is paralyzed. For the “Metallurgy” and “Mechanical Engineering” industries, the issue of survival is now the most pressing issue. Auto-retailers are also looking for new business models in the face of a sharp break in traditional supply chains. As soon as the rating objects show signs of life, stabilization, and structuring, they will return to the Rating. Perhaps in a modified form.
